Men’s tennis team falls 6-1 in Florida finale

10:59 a.m., April 1, 2005--The University of Delaware men’s tennis team saw its four-game winning snapped in a 6-1 loss to Stetson in the final match of its annual spring break trip to Florida.

The Blue Hens, 8-3 on the season, were 3-1 during their trip to the Sunshine State.

John Tully gave the Hens a win in singles competition. For Tully, who is 12-9 on the season, the win was the 54th of his career, placing him within three wins of the all-time Delaware record of 57 set by John Zolin from 1971-75.
