Strong-arm robbery reported

11:14 a.m., June 24, 2005--A strong-arm robbery was reported to Newark Police at 1:45 a.m., Friday, June 24. A 25-year-old male victim was walking in the area of Orchard and Winslow Roads when he heard a car park on the street behind him.

Four to five individuals got out of the car, knocked him to the ground, assaulted him and removed his wallet from his pocket. The suspects then got back into the car and fled.

They are described as in their late teens to early 20s. The vehicle is a 2000 tan Nissan, with a possible Delaware tag of 116393.

The victim suffered a bloody nose and a laceration to the top of his head, but he refused medical treatment.
