Keeler is rated among top college recruiters

10:48 a.m., April 18, 2005--University of Delaware Head Coach K.C. Keeler has been selected one of the top college football recruiters in the nation by American Football Monthly magazine.

The football coaching trade magazine named Keeler as one of the top five recruiters in NCAA Division I-AA, along with Mickey Matthews of James Madison Univesity, Bobby Hauck of the University of Montana, Mike Sewak of Georgia Southern University and Scott Stoker of Northwestern State (La.) University.

The Fightin’ Blue Hens, who posted a 9-4 record and advanced to Division I-AA playoff quarterfinals one year after winning the 2003 national championship, signed players from seven different states to national letters of intent in the off-season.

Keeler has compiled a record of 30-11 in his three seasons at UD and the Hens have captured two Atlantic 10 Football Conference titles.
