Mount St. Mary’s tops UD men’s soccer team

11:38 a.m., Sept. 19, 2005--The University of Delaware men’s soccer team fell 2-0 to Mount St. Mary’s College in a game played Sunday afternoon at Emmitsburg, Md.

UD goalkeeper Chris Jones had three saves in the match, and Sobhan Tadjalli led the Fightin’ Blue Hens with three shots.

The loss followed a 2-2 tie against St. Mary’s College of California on Friday afternoon at the Delaware Mini-Stadium. In that game, junior tri-captain Anthony Talarico scored twice for the Hens.

The Hens (0-3-2) will return to action at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 21, when they visit the U.S. Naval Academy.
