Hens fall to No. 22 in Division I-AA poll

3:37 p.m., Oct. 10, 2005--After losing its second consecutive game, the University of Delaware football team fell nine spots to No. 22 in the Sports Network NCAA Division I-AA poll.

The Fightin’ Blue Hens are 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference following a 10-6 loss to Hofstra University on Saturday at Tubby Raymond Field at Delaware Stadium.

Another Atlantic 10 team, the University of New Hampshire, fell from No. 1 to No. 8 following a 42-10 conference loss to the College of William & Mary.

Southern Illinois is the new No. 1 team, followed in the top five by Montana, Western Kentucky, James Madison and Furman.
