UD field hockey team drops two CAA games
With the losses, UD fell to 6-11 overall and 1-6 in the conference. They have two home games remaining and will take on Drexel University in a CAA contest at 7 p.m., Friday, and LaSalle University in a nonconference match at 1 p.m., Sunday. In the loss to James Madison, the Hens got goals from senior Amber Deimler and junior Kaili Kao, who scored off a pass from junior Katie Evans. It was the 22nd assist of Evans career, which places her fourth all-time at UD. UD junior goalkeeper Megan Allen had four saves, and Amanda Warrington suffered a cut in the first half, took eight stitches and returned to action midway through the second half.
