Blue Hens’ Omar Cuff honored by Atlantic 10 11:39 a.m., Sept. 12, 2005--University of Delaware sophomore running back Omar Cuff has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Week after running for 101 yards and scoring five touchdowns in the Fightin’ Blue Hens’ 34-33 overtime victory over Lehigh University on Saturday. Cuff accounted for all five of UD’s touchdowns, including the game-winner on a 16-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Sonny Riccio on the first possession of overtime. He set UD records for both touchdowns and points (30) in a game. It was the fifth time in Cuff’s brief career that he has run for 100 or more yards in a game.
