I-95 closures to affect traffic through June 10

1:21 p.m., June 3, 2005--The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announced today that portions of I-95 will close Saturday through Friday, June 4-10, for ramp repairs and strip seal replacements.

The following closures—all scheduled from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.--are concentrated just south of Frawley Stadium:

From Tuesday through Friday, June 7-10, two of four southbound I-95 lanes will be closed at the viaduct;

From Sunday through Friday, June 5-10, the northbound I-95 ramp to the Delaware Avenue exit (exit 7) will be closed, with traffic rerouting to Martin Luther King Boulevard (exit 6);

From Tuesday through Friday, June 7-10, the ramp from Jackson Street to southbound I-95 will be closed, with traffic rerouting to Martin Luther King Boulevard (exit 6); and

From Wednesday through Friday, June 8-10, the southbound I-95 ramp to Martin Luther King Boulevard/Fourth Street will be closed, with traffic rerouting to Delaware Avenue (exit 7).
