Hens’ Carly Campana named NFHCA alternate

10:11 a.m., Oct. 21, 2005--University of Delaware senior Carly Campana has been selected as an alternate for the prestigious 2005 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I North-South Senior All-Star Game.

The game, featuring the nation’s top collegiate field hockey players, will be played at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at the University of Louisville.

Campana, a co-captain, has started all 15 games in the midfield for the Fightin’ Blue Hens and had an assist in a Colonial Athletic Association game against Hofstra University.

As a junior, Campana was named to the CAA Academic Honor
Roll. She started in 11 games that season, with one goal and one assist.
