Delaware baseball out of Colonial tournament

11:59 a.m., May 28, 2005--Towson University pitcher Matt Holley cooled down a hot University of Delaware attack, giving up just three hits in a 5-0 victory that knocked the Fightin’ Blue Hens out of the Colonial Athletic Association championship tournament.

UD had earlier lost to George Mason University in the double-elimination tournament.

Towson struck early, scoring two runs in the first inning off UD starter Scott Rambo for a lead that proved to be sufficient.

UD designated hitter Kelly Buber had two hits for the Hens, and catcher Brian Valichka had one.
