Blue Hen baseball team falls to St. Joseph’s

9 a.m., April 22, 2005--St. Joseph’s University pounded out 17 hits to defeat the University of Delaware 10-2 in a nonconference baseball game played Thursday afternoon at Bob Hannah Stadium.

UD pitcher Jason Rogers took the loss, allowing six earned runs on 13 hits. Designated hitter Kelly Buber had two doubles, and center fielder Brandon Menchaca and left fielder Brent Rogers each drove in a run.

With the loss, the Fightin’ Blue Hens fell to 15-19. They will travel to Old Dominion University for a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series, with single games Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
