Delaware baseball falls to George Washington

9:50 a.m., March 18, 2005--The University of Delaware baseball team fell 7-3 to George Washington University in a game played Thursday afternoon at Bob Hannah Stadium.

Kevin Brown took the loss in his first career start for the Fightin’ Blue Hens, who fell to 7-8. Brent Rogers had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for the Hens, while Brandon Menchaca hit a triple and scored a run.

UD will host Penn State University in a three-game weekend series. The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at noon, Saturday, and a single game beginning at 1 p.m., Sunday.
