UD womens basketball wins 10th straight 5:53 p.m., Jan. 17, 2005--The University of Delaware womens basketball team won its 10th straight game on Sunday, defeating George Mason University 72-56 in a Colonial Athletic Association game played at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center. With the win, the Fightin Blue Hens improved to 12-2 overall and 5-0 in the CAA. They are atop the conference standings. The Hens will take to the road for the next two CAA games, visiting Towson University on Jan. 20 and Hofstra University on Jan. 23. In Sundays victory, UD was led by sophomore guard Tyresa Smith, who had 19 points and seven rebounds, and senior forward Tiara Malcom, who had 17 points and five rebounds.
