2:30 p.m., Dec. 2, 2004--The Grammy Award-winning Chestnut Brass Company will usher in UD’s 2004-05 Performing Arts Series at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, in Mitchell Hall.

The Philadelphia-based group has earned international acclaim for brilliant performances on modern and historical brass instruments. The quintet will ring in the season with a program ranging from 19th-Century to modern classics.

Tickets are $17 for the general public, $12 for UD faculty, staff, alumni and senior citizens and $5 for students and children. A 15 percent is available for group sales of 20 or more tickets per show.

For tickets, call the Hartshorn Hall box office at (302) 831-2204, from 10 a.m.-noon, Friday, Dec. 3.

At noon, Friday, Dec. 3, the Hartshorn box office will stop selling tickets for the performance to allow for the transition to the Mitchell Hall box office.
