Ex-Hen Iversen scores 31 in Australian debut

11:23 a.m., March 8, 2004--Former University of Delaware basketball star Ryan Iversen scored a game-high 31 points in his South East Australian Basketball League debut as a member of the Knox Raiders.

Iversen also had eight rebounds and six assists as Knox fell 108-104 to the Bendigo Hume and Iser Braves on Saturday, March 6.

Iversen, a 2003 UD graduate, was co-captain of the men’s basketball team in his senior year.

A transfer from the University of Minnesota, he won over Fightin’ Blue Hen fans with his scrappy, high-energy style of play.
