2:15 p.m., Feb. 3, 2003-- University of Delaware alumnus Rich Gannon, the quarterback for the Oakland Raiders, directed the American Football Conference to a 45-20 victory over the National Football Conference in the Pro Bowl game played Sunday, Feb. 2, in Hawaii.

Gannon started for the AFC and completed 12 passes in 18 attempts for 102 yards and two touchdowns. When he left the game, the AFC had a solid 28-6 lead.
Ricky Williams, the running back for the Miami Dolphins, was named the Pro Bowl Most Valuable Player, snapping a two-year reign by Gannon. Williams rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns and forced a fumble on a special teams play.
Gannon was the National Football Leagues Most Valuable Player for leading the Raiders to the AFC title in 2002.
