Session submissions open for 2021 Summer Institute on Teaching
January 25, 2021
Submissions due March 29
The University of Delaware's 2021 Summer Institute on Teaching (SIT) will be held online June 2-3.
Educations at UD are encouraged to submit proposals for sessions that will inform others about their exciting, interesting and effective educational practices. Proposed sessions should actively demonstrate and practice effective educational practices. Collaborations between multiple facilitators are strongly encouraged.
This year's event will present a balance between (a) thoughtful discussion and reflection on how recent and ongoing events are changing teaching and learning at UD and (b) effective and engaging educational practices that have been successful in teaching.
Proposals can be submitted at http://www.udel.edu/007982 and are due by Monday, March 29. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by the end of April.
More details about the institute, including schedules and materials from last year's event, are available at the SIT website: https://sites.udel.edu/sit/
