Unique lunchtime course begins Oct. 2
The University of Delaware’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) invites staff and faculty to participate in Introduction to Project Management for UD Employees. The program will run each Tuesday beginning Oct. 2 to Dec. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m in the UD PCS office located at 501 South College Ave. The unique 18-hour introductory course explores the powerful and versatile discipline of project management.
Conducted on the Newark campus, the course covers the integration of project management processes with the global standards of the Project Management Institute®, PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition. Upon completion, students will be able to apply effective project management approaches to align the project lifecycle to any organization’s strategic plans.
“UD PCS is pleased to be able support our colleagues’ professional development by offering a conveniently scheduled employee-only class,” said Vic Wang, UD PCS program coordinator. “The lessons are transferable to all work environments and can be applied and used to manage any project, no matter how simple or complex it may be.”
All benefited UD employees, as well as their spouses, same-sex domestic partners and dependents eligible for course fee waivers, are welcome to enroll at a cost of $395 per person. To register or to learn more, call 302-831-7600. Space is limited.
