José-Luis Riera

José earned his bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College, his master’s from Colorado State University and his doctorate from the University of Maryland. José joined the University of Delaware as the Associate Dean of Students in 2010, and was named Dean of Students in 2014. Now as the University’s Vice President for Student Life, José and the Division of Student Life advance equity and inclusion, deepen student learning and drive holistic development through education, experiences and communities that engage thousands of students at multiple stages of their UD experiences.

Adam Cantley

Adam D. Cantley

Adam is a West Virginia native with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from West Virginia University, as well as a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree at UD. Adam joined the University of Delaware as assistant director of fraternity and sorority life in 2011, and became UD’s Associate Dean of Students in 2014. Now the Dean of Students, Adam and his staff are a major point of contact for students and families who need assistance navigating complexities of the student experience.

Directions from the North and South: 

Take I-95 to Delaware Exit #1, Route 896 North. Continue North on Route 896 which becomes South College Avenue (do not turn left at Route 896 and Route 4) and takes you to campus. Turn right from South College Avenue onto East Park Place. Turn left at the next light onto Academy Street. The Career Center will be on your right (401 Academy Street). Enter the Career Center through the white enclosure.
