Walktober is a 6-week online physical activity challenge that will inspire and motivate you to move more this Fall. As you accumulate steps/activity minutes, you will virtually travel the world and explore scenic autumn locations, browse through fall images, receive weekly wellness tips, and have access to a library filled with healthy recipes.

2022 Walktober

Walktober is back and better than ever!

Participants may sign-up as an individual, but are encouraged to join a team of 4-10 other Walktober users for an added challenge. 

Your activity can be tracked using your Fitbit or Jawbone device, Apple Health App, and more! You also have the ability to enter your steps manually if using a fitness tracker not supported by Walktober. As you are accumulating steps/minutes, you will acquire leaves, which will allow you to earn points for both yourself and your team. At the end of the program, prizes will be awarded to the top 3 individuals and the top 3 teams. A weekly prize raffle will also be provided throughout the program.

All access members may invite their household members 13 years old and over to participate!

To accommodate larger groups, teams may be as large as 10 members

Whether you’re just starting out or exercise has been part of your daily routine for a while, Walktober gives you simple, motivating tools to track progress, providing instant feedback from your favorite tracking device or app.

Invite your Family!

All-Access Members should complete the Walktober Household Member Sign-Up form to provide the names and email addresses of any household members aged 13 and over. We’ll use this information to “turn on” their Walktober access.

Join a Team

You have until Sunday, September 26 to form a team of 4-10 members. The team competition will end Sunday, October 31, so be sure to complete logging by Thursday, November 4 to have your activity count toward your team’s score.

Track Your Activity

Once you register and connect a device or app to your Walktober account, it’s simple. Just put your device on in the morning, then each time you sync it with your computer or app and log into your Walktober account, you will see your steps add up.
