#BlueHenReCoop Day is designed to encourage everyone in the UD community to spend some time and energy focused on their personal wellbeing. Taking time to focus on self-care and personal wellness has a direct and positive impact on mental health. Re-Coop Day on Friday October 15th, again offers activities that you can do either virtually or in person to enhance your sense of community and connection, for both employees and students.
We understand that not all employees may be able to participate in Re-Coop Day events due to business needs, and we appreciate your commitment to keeping UD running for our students. We encourage you to find an alternate time to dedicate to yourself during this week.

Morning Meditation | 8:30-8:45 a.m.
Join Chelsea Finch, EHW Fitness Coordinator for a 15 minute mindful body scan meditation to start your day with focus and clarity. Participants are encouraged to join this session from a quiet and comfortable location.
Responding with Resilience, a Re-Coop Day Panel Discussion | 10-11 a.m.
Life was, is and will continue to be hard. The bright side is, if we grow through conflict and replenish our emotional energy, we will be better suited to respond to the chaos of the world. Join us for this dynamic conversation where we will discuss how to incorporate community support, resilience, unconscious bias and all things practical wellbeing so that you can become more present, engaged and feel your best.
Being Adaptive to Thrive in our Ever Changing World | 11 a.m.-Noon
Presented by ComPsych, Guidance Resources, UD’s Employee Assistance Program. Because we’ve always done it like that, may not be the best answer to, “Why do we do the things we do?” In our ever-changing world, we are seeing shifts in our markets and economies, our cultural norms, our behaviors, and ourselves. Now is the time to thrive by learning how to be adaptive and to be consistently able to change yourself to accommodate and maximize the benefits of change.

Yoga on the Green | 11 a.m. - Noon | The South Green | Register
Join Ava on the green for an outdoor yoga class! Focus on your breath in combination with various poses to help strengthen your body and your mind. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or new to the mat, this class is perfect for all looking to improve strength, increase mobility, and decrease stress.
Sprint | 11:45 a.m.- 12:15 p.m. | CSB Cycle Studio | Register
Join Chelsea Finch, EHW Fitness Coordinator, for a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout designed to combine bursts of intensity when you work as hard as possible, with periods of rest that prepare you for your next effort. A low impact workout on an indoor bike to have you burning calories for hours after your workout!
Grit Strength | 12:30-1:00 p.m. | CSB 171a | Register
Join Chelsea Finch, EHW Fitness Coordinator, for a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.
Zumba on the Green | 12:30-1:30 p.m. | West End of Laurel Hall Field | Register
Join Jenn for an outdoor Zumba dance class on the green! A fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves, Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

This barbell class brought to you by the LES MILLS™ team will strengthen your entire body and challenge all of your major muscle groups in a full body workout by using weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts, and curls. Join Yara for great music, motivation, and your choice of weight to inspire you to achieve the results you came for.

Join Herbert for outdoor Tai Chi on the green. Perform a flowing sequence of martial arts moves designed to help improve balance, coordination, and overall health and wellbeing. All beginners welcome.
