Come race the University of Delaware's fast and flat course, which starts and finishes in front of the Delaware Stadium, Whitney Athletic Center, and the Bob Carpenter Center. This out and back route through the Nelson Athletic Complex and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources will take you on a tour of the stadiums, fields and farms on UD’s South Campus. It’s a great way to be active and share your UD Homecoming spirit. Runners and walkers of all abilities are encouraged to participate and stay for post-race refreshments and award ceremony.

Guidance for visitors attending events hosted by the University of Delaware
Effective: Friday, Sept. 10, 2021
For all external visitors ages 12 and older attending events hosted by the University of Delaware, the University requires that event attendees and participants provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR coronavirus test taken within 72 hours of the event. “Full vaccination” means that all guests must have received their final COVID-19 vaccine dose at least 14 days in advance of the UD event they are attending. Authentic proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test will be accepted as long as the test was taken within the specified time frame through a medical or accredited company; please note that “at home tests” will not be accepted. Guests can present a paper copy of their vaccination card or negative test results, OR show an electronic copy of their vaccination card or negative test results on their smart phones. Adults will also need to show valid identification matching the vaccination card/test results.
In addition, all event attendees and participants — including UD students, faculty and staff — will need to complete the UD Daily Health Check and show the green check display reflecting health clearance for venue/community access.
As a reminder, face masks are required at all times while indoors except when consuming food or beverage in designated locations. Prolonged periods of mask removal are not permitted. While children under the age of 12 do not need to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test for entry, children ages 2-12 will be required to wear a face mask while attending any UD event. All individuals, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, should wear a mask outdoors OR maintain physical distancing of at least 3 feet from others.
The University will continue to re-evaluate its event attendance policy in consultation with public health guidance. Updates to University of Delaware's mask and distancing policy can be found at https://www.udel.edu/home/coronavirus/.
