ABOUT EMPLOYEE HEALTH & WELLBEING

Housed within the College of Health Sciences, our programs, events and activities are open to both faculty and staff, their spouses, UD retirees and community members where possible. Our philosophy is centered around 6 foundations for a comprehensive and holistic approach to employee health and wellbeing.
What do we do?
The Employee Health & Wellbeing program strives to advocate on behalf of UD employees by advancing a culture of wellbeing, work-life integration, and human-centered work. We pride ourselves on our ability to sustain high-touch workplace wellbeing solutions in a complex world. We aim to ensure that employees and their teams remain engaged, connected, and positioned to thrive during their time at the University.
We understand that wellbeing looks different to everyone. Our holistic approach is centered around foundational areas of wellbeing aimed to help meet the vast spectrum of needs of our colleagues at UD. By fostering collaborative relationships and assisting in creating a highly connected campus community, we can address the wellbeing needs at the individual level, the team level, and the broader organizational level.
WELLBEING FOUNDATIONS
Our philosophy is centered around 6 wellbeing foundations for a comprehensive and holistic approach to employee health. All 6 are interrelated, and by solving for the whole rather than a part, employees can maximize their energy throughout the day, find value and meaning at work and live life more fully when they return home to their families and loved ones. Our programs, workshops, activities and customized department presentations are always designed with these foundations in mind to support the total health of employees both at work and at home.
