Current Study Abroad Programs
CGPS is pleased to present a world of opportunities at the University of Delaware. We invite you to explore this study abroad portal to discover some of the many ways that you can internationalize your undergraduate education.
This portal displays all upcoming programs, and is designed to help you navigate all of the study abroad opportunities at UD. Select a program to see a full description as well as information about courses, requirements, costs, deadlines, and how to apply. Sign up for updates about any programs you are interested in or check back often for the most up to date information.
If you still have questions after reviewing the program descriptions and answers to Frequently Asked Questions, contact us anytime at studyabroad@udel.edu or call (302) 831-2852 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Passport Notice
If you do not have a current passport, you should be aware that COVID-19 has delayed passport processing times significantly. The U.S. State Department has announced that it now takes 10-13 weeks (3-4 months) to process a passport.
Given the circumstances, if you are thinking about studying abroad in the next year, you need to apply for or renew your passport NOW - even if you’re not 100% sure about your study abroad plans yet. We recommend expediting both the processing time and the shipping time for your passport.
More information about these Winter 2024 programs is available in the UD Abroad database. If you would like to be notified when a particular program is accepting applications, submit your contact information on the form below.

Other important Information
The University will continue to monitor the ongoing situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) as we approach the departure date for study abroad programs. Please reach out to the program coordinator or faculty director with questions and continue to monitor the UD coronavirus webpage for updates.
If UD decides to cancel a study abroad program, we will communicate directly with affected students. In this case, the University of Delaware will reimburse the cost of program fees, tuition and flights (if purchase was advised by CGPS).
