Speech Language Pathology: M.A.

 

The MA program in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Delaware is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive balance of academic and clinical experiences that addresses all KASA 2020 requirements and prepared students to meet the ASHA standards for professional certification following successful completion of the PRAXIS exam and a clinical fellowship period. The curriculum encourages students to explore professional scholarship whether through clinical work, classroom assignments, or independent research. Students who enter the program with all pre-requisite courses should complete the program in 18 months (4 academic semesters, one summer and one winter sessions). Students who enter without clinical pre-requisite courses may require 24 months (4 academic semesters, three summers, two winter sessions).

UD Tuition


 The 2022-2023 UD graduate student tuition rate per credit hour is $1,288*.

* Dean’s Scholarships are available to reduce Speech Language Pathology M.A. tuition to $1250 for the 2022-23 academic year.

 

Some financial aid may be available to qualified students.
