Cran-orange Honey Corn
Instructions
- 10 cups popped corn*
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon shredded orange peel 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Directions
Pop corn according to manufacturer’s directions. Add dried cranberries to popped corn in large bowl. Heat butter in sauce pan on stove until completely melted. Turn down heat to med-low and stir in nutmeg, honey and shredded orange peel to melted butter. Pour butter mixture over popcorn and once cooled, toss with clean hands until popcorn and dried cranberries are well-coated.
*By using whole corn kernels and popping corn on the stove or in an air popper you’ll spend just pennies a serving compared to more expensive microwave packets!
