Cinnamon-apple Corn
Ingredients
- 10 cups popped corn*
- 1/2 cup chopped dried apples 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Pop corn according to manufacturer’s directions. Add raisins and dried apples to popcorn in large bowl. Heat butter in sauce pan on stove until completely melted. Turn down heat to low and stir in nutmeg, brown sugar and vanilla extract to melted butter. Pour butter mixture over popcorn and once cooled, toss with clean hands until popcorn, raisins and dried apples are well-coated.
*By using whole corn kernels and popping corn on the stove or in an air popper you’ll spend just pennies a serving compared to more expensive microwave packets!
