Art Conservation Program Faculty in the Winterthur University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (WUDPAC) often collaborate with American Material Culture (WPAMC) faculty and students. Fellows may observe conservators' laboratory and treatment procedures, apply for scientific analysis of objects they are doing research on, and may audit selected conservation blocks with special permission. American Material Culture students share a student lounge with Art Conservation Fellows. Despite differing courses of study, Fellows in both programs benefit from interaction and complementary interests. Museum Studies Program Fellows may earn a Certificate in Museum Studies that complements their M.A. Degree. This program serves the needs of students in many departments and programs and provides professional training in Museum Leadership and Management, Curatorship and Collections Management, Historic Properties, Museum Education and Interpretation, and Museum Exhibitions. All students pursuing certification must also undertake an internship; most Winterthur Fellows do their internships at the Winterthur Museum.
