Application
Admission is by fellowship only. All students admitted to the Program receive full tuition and a stipend during the two-year course of study, beginning July 1st of the first year and ending May 31 of the second year.
Application Procedures
Students must apply to the Program through the Office of Graduate Studies using the online application form available at:
http://www.udel.edu/gradoffice/apply/index.html.
All applicants must submit an application, GREs, transcript(s), 3 letters of recommendation, a curriculum vitae, and any other materials delineated by the Graduate Office. There is an application fee. The Graduate Office web site will explain the details and procedures.
All students must also contact the Program Secretary, Ms. Sandy Manno, via email. She will send each applicant supplementary information and forms as an email attachment (in Word format). Applicants should print these forms or import them into their word processor, fill them out, and mail them to the Program Office at the address listed below.
We should receive all materials no later than January 15 of the year in which you are applying.
Successful applicants must participate in interview weekend, conducted by the Executive Committee of the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture and normally held over three days during the second or third weekend in March at Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library. Reasonable costs for travel and lodging to attend interview weekend are paid for by the Winterthur Program.
