Wellness Ambassadors

HealthyU is adding a new way for UD faculty and staff to support the health and well-being of the University community as Wellness Ambassadors.  If wellness is a high priority for you and you are willing to share your enthusiasm with your co-workers, please consider becoming a Wellness Ambassador! The primary roles of volunteer ambassadors are to champion university-wide wellness initiatives in their units, buildings or academic departments, by encouraging co-workers to actively participate in HealthyU programs and to lead by personal example. Ambassadors also provide feedback and input from their units to program staff as a way of improving future wellness offerings.

Ambassadors are currently being recruited in all units, buildings or academic departments for the Spring 2013 semester.  Submit your application by Monday, January 14 to reserve your seat at our inaugural orientation luncheon meeting.
We will meet on Friday, January 18 from 12-1pm in the Collins Room, Perkins Student Center for introductions, an overview of expectations, available resources and upcoming programs. We’ll also share some fun activities to help us all get our creative juices flowing for making wellness more a part of our workday experiences.
