  • MIS releases the courses search for departments/colleges. Courses search is a re-purposing of our official course listing qualified by department and colleges. This will eliminate departments and colleges maintaining unofficial course listings on the web. See April newsletter for samples.

  • By the end of September, we hope to have a working prototype to share with service providers so they can be sure their services are represented appropriately. We hope to share the prototype, refined with service provider recommendations and usability results, with the campus community in November/December. These are tentative dates.

  • Work Group Status:
    • Design Work Group
      We have a home page design prototype. It will be shared it with service providers in a few weeks after we finish the last few refinements. The design team is currently designing the second level pages for the customer and service entries.
    • Navigation & Technology Work Group
      The navigation team wrapped up its recommendation in August.
    • Customer Restructure Work Groups
      Customer teams are refining the entries on the first two levels of customer pages. By the end of September, we hope to have the customer stuctures defined.
    • Helpdesk Technologies Work Group
      The "Find It" menu is defined. We are currently looking at help technologies.
    • Marketing Work Group
      The marketing team has completed its recommendation for news and marketing. They are currently looking at off-campus marketing of UD via the web and potential UD micro-sites.
    • Developer's Path
      This team has completed its accessibility recommendation. They are currently working on putting together a resource for UD web developers.
