The Hens were able to get a good start on all three games to this match and maintain the current win streak at home. The problems from this past weekend is finally over. The Hens were passing and attacking well against the Explorers. The team posted .298 attacking percentage and only two passing errors in the match. How about the Hens' defense! The Hens combined for 46 digs on the evening led by captain Joanna Dusza with 14.

Homecoming of Another Sort

Tonight's match also features a native player from Newark -- Krsiten Darby. Krsiten currently plays for the Explorer as a defense specialist. Many supporters were here last night to cheer for the Hens and her Homecoming. Kristen had a great night of passing and defense. Kristen posted 5 digs for the Explorers in the match.

Stats Leaders:

Jr. Outside Hitter, Joanna Dusza led the match with 16 kills and 16 digs.

Other kill leaders for the team were Fr. Middle Blocker Jen Wanner with 9 and an impressive .471 attacking percentage; Jr. Outside Hitter Carly Cangiano, and So. Outside Hitter Krissy Merrill with 7 kills each.

The seniors Becka Colenda, and Paige Harrison posted steady numbers for the Hens. Becka contributed 5 kills and 3 blocks on the night while Paige posted 37 assists on the night.
