The Hens were able to get a good start on all three games to this one match win. This match differ from the last was that the always fighting dragons were not able to answer to the Hens at all. The Hens had another offensive outting averaging 3 blocks, 15 kills, and 16 digs per game. It was, yet, another opportunity for everyone to play. And, yes, they played and played well. We are the most deep team in the conference.
The Hens can be proud of their defense and sideout game. With great serving this weekend, the Hens flex all of their muscles on teams playing on the other side.
Jr. Outside Hitter, Carly Cangiano and Joanna Dusza led the team with 10 kills each. Jo also led the team with 9 digs on the day while Carly 7. Carly also led the match with her .500 attacking percentage with only one error on the day in attacking. Followed closely behind was Jo with also one error on the day and an impressive .479 percentage.
Sr. Middle Blocker, Becka Colenda put up a huge wall this afternoon by recording a match high 7 blocks.
Sr. Setter, Paige Harrison dished out 30 assists on the afternoon with a great defensive effort of 7 digs to go along with her performance.
So. Outside Hitter, Krissy Merrill in her one game performance contributed 7 kills, and 6 digs.
