The University of Delaware Women's Volleyball team is proud
to have signed three recruits for the 1998 volleyball team. They are listed
as follows:
Kristin Arbuckle - a 5 ft. 8 in. Setter from Miami, Florida
who led her team in kills, blocks, assits, and digs for the 97-98 season.
She was selected First Team All Dade County during her junior and senior
years. She led her team to their first ever District Championship during
her senior year. She is currently playing for the South Florida Volleyball
Club Elite 18's Team. Her Elite 17's team was the runner-up in the FLorida
Club Championships in 1997. Kristin has also played tennis, soccer and
basketball in high school. She was undefeated in singles and doubles
in Tennis in '97. She was the '97 district singles champion.
Kelsey Manning - a 5 ft. 11 in. Middle Blocker from Downers
Grove, Illinois who led Downers Grove South to first and second place finishes
in the Illinois State Volleyball Championships during her junior and senior
years. She co-captained her high school team in her senior year and was
recognized as ALl Conference, All Area and All Area Honorable Mention by
Suburban Life, and Daily Herald. She also received West Suburban
Conference All Conference and All Academic Team Honors and Illinois High
School Association Scholastic Achivement Award. She is currently playing
for Sports Performance Club out of Chicago. Last year, she led her Sports
Performance 16's Team to a fifth place finish at the US Junior National
Champioships in Denver, CO. Kelsey is also an excellent student. She was
named an Illinois State Scholar based on her class rank and ACT/SAT
scores.
Cameo Neeman - a 6 ft. Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter from Ursuline
Academy in Wilmington, DE who led her high school team to the Delaware
Volleyball Championship during her senior year. Cameo was recognized as
All Conference and All State during her senior year. She is currently playing
for the Synergy Club Team of Pennsylvania. Last year, her Synergy 17's
Team competed at the US Junior National Championships in Denver, CO.
