Blue Hen Leadership Program Presents
QUEST: a First Year Summer Leadership Experience
Tuesday, August 21, 4:00 pm -- Saturday, August 25, 10:00 am

Arrival: QUEST participants will move into an assigned temporary room on Laird Campus on Tuesday, August 21 for one night only. All participants will move out of their temporary room on Laird Campus and into their permanently assigned residence halls on Wednesday, August 22 between 5:00 and 7:30 pm. We have reserved blocks of hotel rooms and some storage space for parents who wish to stay on Tuesday night to participate in QUEST programming on Wednesday morning and to help with move into permanent residence halls on Wednesday evening. We will also have our own "arrival survival" group of Peer Mentors to help with Wednesday's move in.
    Arrival Options:
  1. Arrive on Tuesday, August 21 with just the basics you'll need for four days (bedding, toiletries, clothing) and have the rest of your things arrive with family on Saturday morning, August 25. You will not have access to your assigned residence hall room until 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 22. OR
  2. Arrive with everything you plan to have in your room all semester on Tuesday, August 21. Your family is welcome to book a hotel room for Tuesday, and on Wednesday attend the morning keynote speaker, lunch, and an information session presented just for them by our Career Services staff. Family members will then be asked to spend time shopping, sight-seeing, etc. until 5:00 pm on Wednesday when you can meet up with them at your residence hall to move in until 7:30 pm.

Cost of the program is $275, due at time of acceptance. Cost covers early housing fees and meal subsidy.
All other program costs are covered by the University.

Application due by July 13.
Students will be notified of selection no later than July 20.
Confirmation and fee will be due by August 10.
