Group Facilitation online workshop
Please contact BHLP staff for
the password to this workshop and verification of credit.
For the first time ever BHLP is offering an online workshop, 'Effective Group Facilitation.' This is a collaborative process designed to facilitate you through the process of becoming a better group facilitator using tools, tips, and techniques based on tested theories. Proceed video by video, and engage others to collaborate with you on your own facilitation challenge. You can share or discuss each activity you do in a small group or in pairs. Even 3-minute conversations or quick, tweet-style sharing with a group can make a big difference. In order to earn credit for completing this online workshop, you should complete the comment form following the 4th module.  Your comment should discuss what specific tools and activities you will try to employ in facilitating a group. New in 2012:
RSO Leader Module
This new BHLP leadership module is targeted to students who currently have or aspire to hold leadership positions in student organizations or fraternity and sorority life. These workshops teach skills and approaches that, when applied, can result in an organization that is smoothly run, and in members who can successfully navigate challenges to lead the group to achieve its goals. Participants can earn a mini-certificate in organization management by completing Why Leadership?** and five of the other workshop choices below. In addition, students must complete a reflection process. (Completion of these workshops can also lead to completion of the Tier 1, Emerging Leader certification.)

Pre-Professional Senior Module
This new BHLP certificate is targeted to seniors who may be too busy to complete Tier 1 of BHLP, but would like some exposure to leadership theories and skills that can specifically aid them in their professional development. Seniors can earn a mini-certificate that prepares them to launch into the world of work by completing the following workshops:

Mock Interview

Tier 3: The Established Leader
Students who completed Tier 2 will earn the Tier 3 certificate
by working on a team partnering with a local non-profit to create a venture project in social
entrepreneurship, assessing a need and developing and implementing a creative solution.
