Because the Executive Committee is the decision-making body of the coalition and the broader coalition meetings have not been well attended for some time, it was suggested that the Executive Committee add members to reflect the community sectors required by the Drug Free Communities grant, and that the broader group be included in communications, but that it not meet on a regular basis. The sectors include: business, civic/volunteer group, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, media, religious/fraternal organization, school, state/local government, youth-serving organization, other substance abuse reduction organization, parent, youth. Suggestions were made for each category and who the logical person would be to make the request. |
