Political pundits Robert Gibbs and Karl Rove will give a joint public lecture on campus November 1. The pair of White House insiders will discuss politics, parties and predictions for the 2012 election, the week before Americans head to the polls.
Robert Gibbs, former press secretary for the Obama administration, works within the Obama 2012 election campaign as a senior advisor. He previously served as press secretary for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential bid and as communications director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
Karl Rove worked inside George W. Bush’s White House from 2000 to 2007, serving as deputy chief of staff and senior advisor to the president. Rove is widely regarded as “the architect” of Bush’s two victorious presidential campaigns. Rove contributes commentary to FOX News, Newsweek and the Wall Street Journal.
