Under clear blue skies on a warm May morning, the University welcomed its newest alumni: the nearly 5,800 members of the Class of 2016.
Reminded that their achievements were made possible by the support of family, faculty and friends, Commencement speaker and social justice advocate Bryan Stevenson, 16H, advised the graduates to pay it forward.
“Now, it’s time to give something back,” he said. “I want to urge you to change the world when you leave here.”
