Vice Provost for Graduate & Professional Education
The Vice Provost collaborates with deans, department chairs, and graduate program directors in providing university-wide leadership to support the continued enhancement of graduate and professional education and post-doctoral studies. The Vice Provost will lead efforts to recruit, retain and support the professional development of a growing and increasingly diverse graduate student population. In addition, the Vice Provost will seek to secure funding to, among other things, enhance stipends, provide global travel grants for presenting and conducting research, sponsor workshops in grant writing, dissertation preparation and career counseling.
The position requires a Ph.D. and a reputation for excellence as a teacher and a scholar who has supervised graduate student dissertations at a research university.
The successful candidate will be appointed for a term of two years.
