1998 WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 1998 World Junior Championships were held November 22-29 in Zagreb,
Croatia. The University of Delaware Figure Skating Club is very proud
to have the SILVER medalists in pairs represent our club:
JUNIOR OLYMPICS
Junior Olympics will be held in March in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
We are proud to have the following skaters represent us:
Keri Saxton and Torsten Joerger along with Caitlin and Matthew Dail will be representing the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club in Juvenile Dance. Ashley Bowser and Patrick Connelly will be our representatives in Intermediate Dance.
Deborah Blinder and Bryan Tomczuk, the Eastern Sectional Intermediate Ladies and Men's Champions will be representing the club in freestyle.

MUSIC SYSTEM
The sound systems in the Rust and Gold Arenas have recently been replaced.
The club contributed $1000 toward the purchase of new equipment.
All of the skaters appreciate the new systems.
FITNESS ROOM
Each year, the club donates money towards the purchase of a new piece of
equipment for Ice Arena's fitness and workout area. This year the club
donated $1200 toward the purchase of a new Stairmaster.
This area is used by competitive figure skaters and the University of
Delaware Hockey Team.
