The University of Delaware Library collections parallel the University's academic interests and are broadly based and comprehensive. Books, periodicals, ebooks, ejournals, enewspapers, microforms, government publications, databases, maps, manuscripts, media, and access to information via the Internet provide a major academic resource for the University of Delaware, the surrounding community, the State of Delaware, and the nation.
The University of Delaware Press was established in 1922, seen as adding to the institution's prestige by issuing books and journals of acknowledged and permanent value. The Press joined Associated University Presses, a consortium of several Mid-Atlantic university presses, in 1975, and in 2010 joined the Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group, a partnership that allows the Press to solicit and evaluate new manuscripts while maintaining editorial control.
Submitting a Publication
UD Authors provides a online catalog for works by University of Delaware faculty, staff and alumni authors. Faculty and staff can submit books to the site by logging in through the online form. We are currently unable to accept submissions from alumni without an active UDelNet ID as a student, staff or faculty member.
