UD’s annual ceremonies in honor of graduating Black and Latinx/Hispanic students
The University of Delaware Center for Black Culture will hold the Adelante graduation ceremony for Latinx/Hispanic students and the Kente Stole graduation ceremony for black students, both on Friday, May 25.
Both of the annual ceremonies recognize the achievements of graduating students while affirming the contributions of family members and supporters. Members of the campus community are invited to attend. All seniors participating in the Adelante and Kente Stole ceremonies have already registered and been confirmed.
The Adelante Ceremony will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, May 25, in the Auditorium of Clayton Hall. Those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP before May 15. To learn more about the Adelante Ceremony, read this flyer.
