Sociology to host graduate student conference on STAR Campus
The University of Delaware Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice will host its 10th annual Graduate Student Conference on Friday, Feb. 10.
The conference has at its focus “Social Inequalities: Methodological Implications,” and is geared toward interdisciplinary social science collaboration.
The conference keynote speaker will be Annette Lareau, professor of sociology at the University of Pennsylvania.
The conference will be held from 10 a.m.-3:15 p.m. in the atrium of the STAR Health Sciences Complex on the University’s Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus on South College Avenue. A reception will follow.
Attendance for the conference is free of charge, however organizers do ask for those attending to register online.
