University Library offers creative photography multimedia workshops
9:02 a.m., Sept. 16, 2015--The University of Delaware Library will present three workshops on creative photography during the fall semester.
“Creative Photography: Understanding Your Digital Camera” participants will learn how to use camera’s settings to produce impressive results.

“Creative Photography: Basics of Composition” will build on the concepts from the “Understanding Your Camera” workshop to take photos to the next level.
Those with interest can complete the photographic journey by attending “Creative Photography: Basics of Editing.” This workshop will introduce participants to the theory behind some of the common adjustments photographers make – contrast, sharpness, color balance, tonality or saturation.
“Creative Photography: Understanding Your Digital Camera” will be offered on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 2-3:30 p.m. in Room B of the Student Multimedia Design Center on the lower level of the Morris Library. Presenter will be Hannah Lee, senior assistant librarian and program coordinator, Multimedia Literacy, Multimedia Collections and Services Department.
“Creative Photography: Basics of Composition” will be offered on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 2-4 p.m. in Room B of the Student Multimedia Design Center. Lee will be the presenter.
“Creative Photography: Basics of Editing” will be offered on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 2-4 p.m. in Room B of the Student Multimedia Design Center. Presenter will be Nico Carver, assistant librarian and coordinator, Multimedia Center Services, Multimedia Collections and Services Department.
These workshops are available at no charge and are open to University of Delaware faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. Online registration is available.
