Haven announces Fall Drag Show to be held at Trabant University Center

8:10 a.m., Sept. 28, 2015--Haven, the LGBTQ+ registered student organization at the University of Delaware, has announced that its Fall Drag Show will be held at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center.

The show will feature headliner Gia Gunn and host Ivy Winters, both former RuPaul's Drag Race contestants. They will be joined by UD favorites Anita Mann and Phoenix Rising, as well as rising star Tasker Morris.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Tickets are on sale now at the Trabant box office for $5 and can also be purchased the night of the show for $7. There will also be a raffle during the show the proceeds of which will go to benefit AIDS Delaware.

Finally, as part of the ongoing Trabant Now/Perkins Live programs, this year's show will be followed by a catered after party with the queens. The first 80 people to purchase tickets will be invited.
