Faculty Commons Book Club sets discussion on 'In Defense of a Liberal Education'

10:04 a.m., Sept. 21, 2015--The University of Delaware Faculty Commons Book Club will meet for the first time this fall semester on Oct. 7 to discuss In Defense of a Liberal Education by CNN host and best-selling author Fareed Zacharia.

Limited copies of the books are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis upon registration. Participants will be contacted via email if they are eligible for a free copy.

The meeting for this book will be Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 12:30 p.m. with drinks and dessert provided at Faculty Commons (116 Pearson Hall). RSVP requested.

Barbara T. Gates, Alumni Distinguished Professor Emerita of English, will be leading the discussion.
