Club Sports Night

For those interested in joining one of the 34 club sports teams on campus, Club Sports Night will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Little Bob. Members of each team will be present to disburse information on tryouts, practice schedules, membership requirements, and more.

Club sports teams are student run organizations that provide an opportunity to engage in structured competition at a level other than the intramural or varsity level. Teams can compete at local, regional, and national competitions.

Joining a club team allows students to continue their athletic careers while meeting and having fun with other like-minded individuals. View all club sports.

Intramural sports

Those looking for something fun and active to do during the week are invited to join the more than 5,400 Blue Hens already participating in intramural sport leagues and tourneys throughout the year. Coed, men’s, women’s, and some Greek Life leagues are available. Sign up online with a group of friends or register as a free agent to be placed with a team.

Winning teams get the coveted intramural champions T-shirts and a chance to be featured on the Wall of Champions in the Little Bob. View all intramural sports.

Hiring: Flag football officials

Students interested in joining the team of flag football officials and make some extra cash can apply online. There are mandatory training sessions Sept. 8-10 from 8-10 p.m. Anyone interested in becoming an official should apply online and plan on attending these sessions.

Fitness class passes

The fall fitness class schedule is now available. Students can commit to get fit by registering for fall/winter unlimited group fitness class passes online or at the Little Bob cashiers window. The unlimited class pass allows participants to attend as many classes as they want throughout the fall and winter semesters. Lift like a girl

Perform squats, lunges, chest presses, arm exercises and more like a pro. This six-week program will teach female students how to do basic full body exercises using dumbbells and barbells. There will also be a Sunday morning VIP session in the strength room before the Little Bob opens. Class meets from 4-5 p.m. every Wednesday from Sept. 16-Oct. 21.
