Open forums set for deputy provost candidates
1:50 p.m., Oct. 22, 2015--Candidates for the position of deputy provost for academic affairs at the University of Delaware will participate in open forums with the campus community over the next two weeks.
Forums are scheduled in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room of the Morris Library with

• Lynn Okagaki, interim deputy provost, Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 3:30 p.m.;
• Lynnette Overby, professor of theatre and chair of Community Engagement, Friday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m.; and
• Gretchen Bauer, professor of political science and international relations, Thursday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m.
The post of deputy provost became vacant when Nancy Brickhouse became chief academic officer at Saint Louis University in Missouri this summer.
The search committee, composed of faculty and staff, is being chaired by Matt Kinservik, vice provost for faculty affairs.
