Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Delaware

9 a.m., Nov. 11, 2015--In accordance with Section 1.3.2 and 1.3.3 of the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees of the University of Delaware, public notice is hereby given that the Chair of the Board of Trustees has called for a special meeting of the Board of Trustees. The special meeting will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center on the campus of the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. The special meeting will be open to the public.

Notice is also given that video-conference technology may be used to permit participation by Trustees who are unable to attend the special meeting in person.

The purpose of the special meeting is to consider and approve the appointment of an individual to serve as President of the University of Delaware in accordance with Section 3.3.2.1 of the Bylaws. As provided in Section 1.3.3.1 of the Bylaws, discussion at the special meeting shall be confined to that purpose and matters germane thereto.
